Class Conduct
Because of the possible hazards of uncontrolled Martial Arts training, some rules must be observed by all students.
- Punctuality for classes is important (although if you cannot avoid being late, it is better to train late than not at all).
- When your Instructor calls you to attention, it is vital that you stop whatever you are doing instantly and pay attention.
- Try your best to do what your Instructor is asking of you, showing him or her, and your fellow students, respect.
The student should strive to follow the Fire Dragon Class Code. The instructor likewise follows the Martial Arts Code of Ethics.
These codes are an important overall direction and include principles which should govern conduct in class. However, Fire Dragon has a Training Code, with which students should familiarise themselves, as it deals with every-day safety and conduct issues, in detail.
